Get up close with some of Australia’s most interesting native animals in a fun, interactive and educational show for all ages. Animals Galore Show features live reptiles, mammals and birds, with practical information about each species and the environments they live in.

Western Port Shorebirds & the Intertidal Zone
Discover the incredible shorebirds of Point Leo—Sooty Oystercatchers, Red- capped Plovers, Red-necked Stints, Hooded Plovers and more—and learn why Western Port’s Ramsar wetlands are vital to their survival.

Explore Point Leo’s healthy waterways and discover what lives beneath the surface.

• Create botanical sun prints

Bushland, Biolinks & the Koalas of Western Port
Koalas are regularly seen along the Point Leo shoreline. Learn about their
ecology, the threats they face and conservation efforts underway across
Western Port.
• Guided walk through a little-seen section of the reserve
• Learn to identify koala signs (scats, scratches, tracks)
• Become a citizen scientist by recording sightings
